Originally a 16th C. cottage, Tandalar is situated by the beautiful Mawddach estuary, on the A470 between Dolgellau and Betws Y Coed, in the Snowdonia National Park.
Dolgellau is a small town near to the mountain Cader Idris. Betws Y Coed is a lovely village in the heart of the Snowdon mountain range, and is a place very popular with walkers, climbers and tourists.
Tandalar is 2 miles from the Coed Y Brenin forest, a great area for walking. The Coed y Brenin mountain biking and visitor centre is 5.5 miles away. Also nearby are the Torrent Walk, the Precipice Walk, Ganllwyd Valley with its many waterfalls, and the Rhinog mountains.
We have a pleasant garden with a stunningly beautiful view across the Mawddach estuary to the Cader Idris mountain range.
